Everybody in the family will enjoy these festive and delectable Christmas Tree Rice Krispie Treat Pops. These are incredibly simple to prepare and make for delightful gifts or holiday get-togethers.
Ingredients:
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 10 oz marshmallows
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- Green food coloring
- Assorted colorful candies for decorating
- 12 cake pop sticks
Instructions:
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter
When the marshmallows are fully melted and smooth, add them and stir
Add food coloring, a few drops at a time, until the desired color is reached
After taking the pan off the burner, quickly fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until it's well coated
Let the mixture cool slightly before shaping it into tiny Christmas tree forms and placing them on cake pop sticks
Use colorful candies to create the illusion of lights and ornaments
Transfer the pops to a tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for a minimum of half an hour
Present and savor the festive Popsicles made of Rice Krispies!
