Honey-Mustard Skillet Chicken



This Honey-Mustard Skillet Chicken is a delightful combination of sweet and savory flavors. The chicken is seared to perfection and then simmered in a luscious honey-mustard sauce, creating a dish that is both easy to make and incredibly delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions:

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides

In a small bowl, mix together Dijon mustard, honey, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and dried thyme

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat

Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side

Pour honey-mustard mixture over chicken breasts, then add chicken broth to the skillet

Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and sauce is thickened

Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving
