This Strawberry Pomegranate Sangria is a fruity and refreshing take on traditional sangria. It tastes like strawberries, pomegranates, and citrus, and it's great for parties or just relaxing on a Friday night.
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle red wine
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup triple sec
- 1/4 cup simple syrup
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup pomegranate arils
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Club soda optional, for serving
Instructions:
Put red wine, pomegranate juice, brandy, triple sec, and simple syrup in a large pitcher
Put in the pitcher orange slices, lemon slices, pomegranate arils, and strawberry slices
Mix everything together slowly
To let the flavors blend, cover and put in the fridge for at least two hours, or better yet, overnight
Pour sangria into glasses that are already full of ice to serve
Pour a little club soda into each glass to make it fizzy if you'd like
If you want, you can add more fruit slices as a garnish
Have fun!
