Ingredients:
- 1 whole-wheat pizza dough
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup pitted black olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional
Instructions:
Set your oven to 220C 430F before you start cooking
On a floured surface, roll out the whole-wheat pizza dough to the thickness you want
Place the dough that has been rolled out on a baking sheet or pizza stone that has been lined with parchment paper
Add a little salt and pepper to the dough after brushing it with olive oil
Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese out evenly on the dough, leaving a little space around the edges for the crust
On top of the cheese, put the broccoli florets, black olive slices, and pine nuts
You can add red pepper flakes to make it hotter if you like
It should be baked in a hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned
Take it out of the oven and let it cool for one minute before cutting it
If you want, you can add fresh basil leaves as a garnish
Cut your tasty broccoli, olive, and pine nut whole-wheat pizza into pieces and serve it hot
